Studio Policies

Group Classes

Advanced registration and payment is the only way to guarantee your place in the class. If a class is cancelled due to bad weather every effort will be made to schedule a makeup class. However, no refunds will be offered. A $5.00 surcharge will be added to all registrations not paid in advance of the class start date.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds once a class has begun. If you cancel your registration 7 or more days prior to the starting date of the class, you will receive a refund less a 10% processing fee. If you cancel less than one week prior to the start date you will receive a refund less a 20% processing fee.

The Management reserves the right to cancel any class where there are fewer than six people enrolled and to use substitute teachers to ensure continuity of a class series. If the class is cancelled you will be issued a studio class credit or a full refund.

There is no credit given for missed classes

Please understand that the instructors of the group classes must teach to the median level of ability in any class situation. Sometimes a class may seem paced too slowly or too quicly fo ryou personally. If you are uncomfortable in your class, please find tiem tot talk to a Booth's Dancesport professional. We will work with you to find a better class for you to move to.

Private Lessons

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you must cancel your lesson please give your instructor a full days notice so he or she has the opportunity to schedule someone else in you place, otherwise if you cancel late you will forfeit the lesson and be charged fully for the lesson.

Children in Studio

Children are only allowed on the dance floor if they are participating in a private or group lesson. Children must be of the appropriate age to entertain themselves quietly in the reception area if present during parents' lesson. A parent or guardian must be present on all lessons for youth ages 15 and younger. Children can not be "dropped off" under any circumstances. Youth between the ages of 16 and 17 must have a parent or guardian accompany them the first lesson so the instructor may meet the parent or guardian and discuss details about taking lessons in our studio.

Guests

We do appreciate any effort on your part to encourage your friends and acquaintances to begin dancing at Booth's. They are welcome to observe any class.

Returned Check Policy

$15 will be charged for any returned checks to cover the costs of collection and processing.

Online Payments

Upon approval of your credit card transaction you will be issued a unique confirmation number. This number will show on a confirmation page, sent to you in an email, and will be on file at the studio. You may use any of these methods as payment confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse a transaction if all provided information does not match exactly (Billing address, zip code, phone number, and v-code). Your personal information will not be sold to any third party, and will only be used by Booth's Dancesport Ballroom and to process your purchase.
